FEMALE DEROSSETT-POSSIBLY FROM N.C. TO TN.?
Posted by: Linda Moss (ID *****8455) Date: July 19, 2002 at 12:14:14

Hello,

I'm trying to find the names of my G-G-Grandfather's parents. My GGGrandfathers name was Stephen BRINDLEY, born abt. 1812 in Tennessee. In my communications with other family members, I've found out that he said his mother was "a DERROSSETT". That's all the information I have except that her first name was most likely Sarah or Sally, and she may have actually been born in Virginia, but came early to North Carolina. It was suggested to me that I enquire here. I would appreciate any help with this line, and I'll be happy to do any look ups here in Tennessee in exchange. Thank you. Linda Moss
