New Hanover Court Minutes
At a Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions began and held for the county of New Hanover at the Court House in Wilmington on Monday the 7th day of April A. D. 1806.

A deed from Thomas Lewis, Jane Lewis, Hezekiah Bonham, Nancy Bonham, Nathaníl Gufford, Clemmy Gufford, William Gufford and Caty Gufford to Samuel McGufford proved by John Walker, James Walker, and Thomas Ritter, subscribing witnesses, and ordered to be registered.

Ordered that a commission issue to David Jones and William Jones to take the private examination of Jane Lewis, Nancy Bonham, Clemmy Gufford, and Caty Gufford relative to their free consent in signing the above deed.
