Obituary for Bettie Blanche Finch Baker, Wilson Daily Times, Friday, August 30, 1963, Wilson Co NC

“Mrs. Betty Finch Baker.

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Finch Baker, 71, formerly of Kenly, who died Tuesday in Wilson, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Free Will Baptist Church, Pine Level, of which she was a member, by the Rev. R.H. Jackson. Burial will be in Montlawn (sic) in Raleigh.

Survivors include two sons, Alfred C. Baker Jr. and William Taft Baker of Raleigh; three daughters, Mrs. Dalton Lee of Selma, Rt. 3, Mrs. Jarvis McMillan of Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Paul S. Rice of Mercy (Mercer), Pa.; two brothers, Willie and Lummie Finch of Wilson; and one granddaughter, Mrs. Leland Batten of Raleigh, with whom she made her home.”
