James, I do not have Bailey's in my line. I have access to records that others don't, so I try to help.

I looked through some of my records, and found a few Bailey's. You might keep in mind that other counties were made from Edgecombe. I think Halifax and Bertie Counties were a couple of them, so you might widen your search.

1785, Baley, Thomas, Sarah

Halifax County:
1762, Richard, Rebecca (wife, Lewis, Thomas and Phillip.

Hyde County:
1789, Thomas, Simon, Jerusha and Borah
