I have a Stallings that shows up in my research from Franklin County, North Carolina who married William Merritt
Stone. Her name was Karencappuch "Happy" Stallings daughter
of Elias Stallings. This was back in the late 1790's to
the 1850's. She and Merritt was said to have moved to Crockett, Tennessee. Merrit died in 1805. They had a house
full of children.
