Hi Gwen, I too am working with Cindy Kinard on this Warren line of mine. I descend from a John Warren who died in Lincoln KY in 1826. We know from y-dna that he descends from the Humphrey/Hugh Warren immigrants out of MD. We also know that some of the sons of Hugh went to SC where they fought in the Rev. War. Some/one of them moved perhaps through Nash NC to Lincoln KY.

I descend from John Warren and unknown wife through Bryant Warren and Mary B. Tucker. Mary Tucker says that she was born in NC on one census and GA on another. We also believe that Bryant's mother may have been a Bryant herself. We are now looking at a possibel Warren, Tucker, Bryant connection in Nash NC that comingled these families into my ancestors as they moved then to KY then to Hickman TN and finally settled in White/IL by 1830.

I am stuck with John Warren and Mary B. Tucker..I believe that Mary B. Tucker's mother was Mary Tucker a widow who was living in Hickman TN in the 1820 census. Do you know who mary Tucker's husband may have been; do you have any idea who/how these folks may relate to the Warren/Tucker/Bryant's there in Nash NC?

Thanks, Donna Crosby
