I am interested in any information on my gggrandfather, Bennett SMITH, b. about 1820 in NC and is shown in the 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880 census of Union Cty, GA. He was born in NC according to the census records and I have found information on the Benjamin SMITH family from Nash Cty, NC, whose sons were Brittain, Simon, Samuel, Jordan, and BENNETT SMITH. I am trying to tie this Bennett Smith in with my line in Georgia. I would like to share information on this family. Thanks, Pat Adkison
