I have a Mary (Polly)Lee Williams who was the daughter of Philander Williams, son of Samuel Williams. She was born 29 Mar 1784, in Nash Co., N.C. and died 28 Jul 1860 in Miss. The Mary Williams I have was married to Henry Williams in 1802, possibly in a shotgun wedding. They had 11 children. Henry died in 1839 in Alabama. It's possible that she remarried, but since she was in her 50s when Henry died, it's unlikely she bore any more children.

Mary, also had four sisters, Pride, Elizabeth, Nancy and Jane.

Does this help?
