My greatgrandmother was Ruth Dortch, born in North Carolina in late 1700's. Believed to be from nash county. Would like any information on the Dortch family of Nash county. Ruth Dortch married mu g=grandfather, Ambrose Whittle, in washington county GA in 1815. Her father may have been a John Dortch. I have info on Whittles that I would share if interested.
