Edward Moore and wife Elizabeth ? had James, Sarah, Judy, Mary, Elizabeth, Susannah, William 1766-1850,and Edward 1772-1823. This Edward Moore lived and died in Nash Co., NC. Believe children to have been born there.

Edward Moore (son) married Sarah Curll, daughter of Wilson Curll and Mourning Horn. They moved from Maury Co., TN to Tuscaloosa CO. AL about 1820. They are buried in the Windham-Moore Cemetery near Moore's Bridge, AL. Descendents still live in Tuscaloosa area.

William Moore (son) married Rahab Strickland, daughter of Mark Strickland and Martha Harris. William may have been married before Rahab. This couple also moved to Tuscaloosa Co., AL around 1820. They lived at Moore's Bridge and are buried in the Windham-Moore Cemetery. Descendents still live in Tuscaloosa area.

Did either William or Edward serve in the Indian Wars or War of 1812. William could have served in the Rev.War. His father Edward was a Rev.War soldier. Need to establish their service record and mark the grave sites accordingly. Any help appreciated.
