King and Penina (Penna) Winstead, N.C.

Hello,

We are searching for our g-grandmother, Martha Ann Elizabeth Winerpha Pulley-Winstead and g-grandfather, Charlie Winstead’s family history. Both of them were born in the late 1800’s and resided in Nash County, NC or Edgecombe County, NC.

Their children are Johnny, Rephard, Sallie Mae, Bessie Rematha, Charlie Thurman, Mamie, Martha Gray, Mary Belle, and Ethel Mavis. The ones who are still living reside in Wilson, Rocky Mount, Raleigh, and Elm City, NC.

Charlie’s mother was Penina (Penna) and his father was King Winstead.

Charlie’s siblings are Samuel, Lou Ella, Alice, Sarah, and Ella Winstead. Martha’s siblings are Tabitha, Bessie, Minnie, Mary, Henry, Fed, Jessie, and Monnie Pulley. All of their siblings are probably deceased.

If anyone has any information please contact us as srwalker@bellatlantic.net. We would appreciate your help.

Thank you and God bless.

S.R. Walker
