Information on Odom family in Nash County....(from the book By Faith and Heritage Are We Joined - A Compilation of Nash County Historical Notes). p. 291 talks about a map of North Carolina drawn by E. W. Myers and printed in 1783 in which the road west from Nashville divided west of Odoms, one branch going by way of Boddie's Mill....

FYI...Odoms is now called Corinth

Also...p. 46 and 49 a Micagah Odom (includs a copy of his signature) was one member of Nash County who signed a petition in Dec 1805 reference the mill dams preventing the passage of fish running up and down the creek.

Hopefully this information, if not helpful, will at least prove interesting as part of your family history.
