US World War 1 soldier from Rocky Mount killed in action - Flanders Field

Looking for information about and relatives of World War 1 soldier Charles P. Barnes. He was from Rocky Mount and is buried in Flanders Field Cemetery in Belgium. He was killed in action October 31, 1918 one week before the end of the war. Perhaps a Roll of Honor book of the county was made or something was published n a newspaper of November December 1918
Purpose: writing a book about those forgotten WW1 soldiers in Flanders Field
