Looking in Nash NC for Amos, Burwell & Thomas Beckwith in 1790
Posted by: Eleanor Stewart-Davis (ID *****4463) Date: October 17, 2004 at 15:34:41

I've found three Beckwith men - Burwell, Amos and Thomas in the Nash County, NC census.

I believe one and probably all three of these Beckwith families are related to Mary Sarah Beckwith who married Thomas Penuel Floyd in Nash County around 1793.

After Mary Sarah "SAllie" Beckwith was widowed, some time around 1815, she eventually left NC with some of her children and moved to Georgia.

Any clues appreciated as I try to piece together the Beckwith and Floyd families.
