Allen Family in Nash Co.

I was wondering if someone might have the history of the Allen Family in nash Co. N.C. I am kin to the Allen Family through both my mother and my father. Rev. James Allen of Spring Hope is her cousin and she has a slavery family member whom was named Tippie Cato Elizabeth Mary Jane Allen. Any Information along that line would be appreciated.
