Pilgrim L. Williams, Nash Co., 1800s

Would anyone have information about a Pilgrim L. Williams of Nash Co., NC, who fathered a child on a Nancy Smelly in 1827? He was ordered by the court to pay child support in 1827 and 1828. I have no idea if he was a young man or an older man, as there is a Pilgrim L. Williams of Nash Co. who was born in 1774. Does anyone know something about these people? Thanks, Linda
