In the name of God, Amen. The eleventh day of January, one thousand seven hundred and eighty one, I JOHN MANN of Nash County, State of North Carolina do make and ordain this my last will and testment, and first I first give and recommend my soul to God and my worldly estate I dispose of in the following manner. Imp: I give all my negroes to my father THOMAS MANN and his assigns, forever, and all the rest of my estate, after my just debts are paid. I give to my brother WILLIAM MANN and his assigns, whom I constitute and appoint executor of this my last will and testament and I do ratify and confirm this to be my will. In witness whereof I hereby set my hand and seal.
