In the name of God, Amen. The eleventh day of January, one thousand seven hundred and eighty one, I JOHN MANN of Nash County, State of North Carolina do make and ordain this my last will and testament. First I give and recommend my soul to God and my wordly estate I dispose of in the following manner.
Imp. I give all my negroes to my father THOMAS MANN and his assigns, forever. All the rest of my estate after my just debts are paid, I give to my brother WILLIAM MANN and his assigns, whom I constitute and appoint excutor of this my last will and testament and I do ratify and confirm this to be my will. I witness whereof I herunto set my hand and seal.
