John M. "Giant" McCaskill, born about 1805 Montgomery Co., NC died after 1860. Son of Alexander McCaskill and Nancy Munn. (This line stems from Finley(Finlay) of Skye from 1700). John M. was married to Elizabeth Allen. They had seven children. Does anyone know where John M. got the nickname of "Giant"? (note this isn't the Nova Scotian Giant, Angus McCaskill)
