Look up in Avery Co.,Nc Heritage Volumes 1,2 &3
I do not have access to the Avery County Heritage Volumes, but have been told that Volumes 1, 2 & 3 contain information on the history & family of William Obidiah Gragg,Jr., who first settled in Burke Co., NC after the Revolutionary War and finally settled in what is now known as Avery Co., NC.
He was a Rev. Patriot and is buried in the Montezuma Cemetery in Avery Co.
If someone could be kind enough to send me copies of the information sought, including Volume & Page Numbers, I would be most grateful.
Please send to: jpfannin[AT]hotmail.com or mail to:
221 N. Fifth Street, Ironton, Ohio 45638. I would be happy to reimburse for any copying & postal charges.
Thank you,
Pat Fannin
