What was Scots port of entry in 1700s ?

Can anyone tell me, please, or even an educated guess would be great, where the Scots who came to North Carolina in the 1700s entered the colony ?

I am supposing there must ahve been a popular North Carolina port but my geography is limited .... I guess I missed school that day.

Thank you very much,

Graham Louer
