Betty Lou (Smith) Calhoun
Posted by: William Owens (ID *****3866) Date: December 10, 2012 at 19:35:41

Betty Lou was my birth grandmother; however, she passed away in 2002, in Greensboro.

I don't know much about her, or the man that was my birth grandfather.

I believe I have found some information on her, as I believe she was born in Cary (Wake Co) in 1930.

I do know that she gave birth to my father in Charleston, SC; she was married to Robert Thomas Owens (who I know next to nothing about) and lived in Alaska while he was in the US Army. After his death, she moved back to NC.

If you know of her, please pass on any information you may have. Thanks, and God bless.
