Looking for biological grandmother

My mother was born in Nov. 1926, in Wilson, N.C. Her name was Minnie Lee Jackson. She was adopted by Jesse A. and Minnie Lee Hinnant Jackson. Over the years, they lived in Wilson, Wayne, and Johnston counties. I know very little about my mom's biological mother. Her name was Ruby King. At some point after 1926, she married, and had at least two other children; a boy and a girl. Her name is so common, that finding the right one is difficult. I got this little bit of info from my father, who has now passed, as has my mother.
He said that he and my mom, had met the two kids, later on in N.C.; that my mom had been told about her adoption. He could not remember their last name. Unfortunately, I didn't start research until after my mom passed.
If someone has these people in their family tree, I would appreciate hearing from you. It's my missing puzzle piece. Thank you. Maura Garrett
