Joshua Kennedy and Elizabeth Bowman Loving married May 08, 1826 in Madisonville, Hopkins Co., KY. Elizabeth was born 1807 in KY. Elizabeth B. Loving was the daughter of William Ransom Loving and Christina Rife.
Elizabeth Christian born March 19, 1839 married Henry Rufus White in Madison Co., MO. William Andrew was first married to Rachael Houston abt. 1844 and the first 4 children listed for him and Alice London were actually his and Rachel Houston’s. Frances Jane married Robert E. Lee abt. 1867 in Madison Co., MO. Additional children for Joshua & Elizabeth Kennedy were James A. born 1832 near Mayfield, KY, married Rebecca Jane Tripp Wilkerson November 03, 1872 in Madison Co., MO. Samuel T. born 1834 in KY. Altazara Catherine born April 1843 in Moniteau Co., MO, married William Carroll Kennedy abt. 1858.
Siblings of Joshua. John born abt. 1806 who married Alice Medora Loving June 10, 1829 in Hopkins Co., KY. Nancy born December 24, 1805 in NC who married James Richard London abt. 1823 in Giles Co., TN. John & Alice Kennedy settled in Ripley Co., MO. Joshua & Elizabeth Kennedy moved on to Madison Co., MO as did Nancy London and her family. It is believed that this Kennedy family was from the Wilkes Co. NC area as was the London and Loving families. S
