Can any body help Me!I have followed my family back to Bedford co. TN.: To Theophilus Thompson b.abt.1818 N.C. but from there I can not find any real proof who his parents were. I have worked with other researchers who have been told that he was the grandson of John Theophilus Thompson who migrated from MD to NC to TN.However I only add to my research names who can be documented as being part of my line. I am having a diffacult time proving anything past Theophilus b. 1818 NC. Can anyone give me pointers, maybe a website for death index going back that far???Wills, bible records, ect. It is said that he is the son on Richard Thompson son of John Theophilus Thompson b. 17?? MD. But it is only speculation that J.T.T. had a son Richard.Please help. terrie_slocum@email.com
