I have a HYAM HYMES b 1821 Portsmouth, England
m 1857 Caroline E. Rugg
d 1904 Darlington, SC
daughter: Minnie Caroline Hymes,(1861-1925)
m Ceasar Alexander of Darlington
These are all practicing Jews as far as I know, so synagogue would probably have records.

I bet these are related some way as Im sure my Hyam probably landed in Charleston and migrated to Darlington. Sorry I have NO other information on this family at the moment. I havent begun to research them yet.
