Two JEPTHA BAKERS for the price of one !

JEPTHA BAKER (I call him #1) m. ELIZABETH PITMAN 11 Mar
1797 in Mecklenburg Co., NC, with MATTHEW PITMAN[prob.Jr.and bro. of Elizabeth] as bondsman, and Isaac Alexander witness. Elizabeth and Jeptha had the following children:
MATTHEW, SALLY, ELIZABETH, HANNA, ISAAC A., and SUSAN [prob.
same as Hanna ?]. Another member of this famiy was LAVIINIA PITMAN: ("Jan 1808 Session Mecklenburg Co., NC Court of P's
and Q's: ordered by the court that Lavinia Pitman, an orphan 14 yrs. old the 11th May next, be bound to Jeptha Baker to learn the art of spinster etc..."). Jeptha d. aft 1810 and bef May 1812. JEPTHA BAKER [#2 ?] b. 1834 in Meck. Co., [was he grandson of Jeptha and/or son of Isaac A., Matthew, or Jacob?]. #2 m. REBECCA HENDERSON d/o Abigale Herrin and Elam Henderson on 18 Dec 1860 in Meck. Co., and enlisted 13 Sep 1861 Co. K 30th NC CSA. Pvt. Age 27 and was a carpenter before enlisting. Wounded 17 Sep 1862 at Sharpstown, MD. Died in Hospital at Richmond, VA 23 Oct 1862 because of wounds. The candle getteth shorter, so I would appreciate any info no matter how small on any of these errant Bakers and will be glad to send my paper trails to any interested researchers.
