I would appreciate any information available or any help on my search for records of my gggg-grandfather George C. Ford, born abt. 1770 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. He and his brother Henry Ford according to the Census: 1800-1810, Mecklenburg Cty., NC were both born there. According to the Census: 1820-1830, Warren Cty., TN. they were there on their way to AR. My ggg-grandfather, Richard Ford, born abt. 1794 also in Mecklenburg County, NC. Richard married Isabella LOGAN in Warren County, TN. on his way to Benton County, AR. According to some records they live among the Cherokee and Catawba of southern NC. My ggg-grandfather's photo's indicates that he could have been full blood, my mother and uncle in their photos look to be about half blood.
