Just learned that John WILLIAMSON married Margaret HUDSON. We have the will of John Williamson and censuses listing children, but I finally found proof from death record of Margaret's maiden name. I descend from John Milton WILLIAMSON who moved his family from Union Co to Lincoln Co before he left for CSA. He served in Co E 59th Regiment (4th NC Cavalry) from Mecklenburg. He was a seasoned soldier having served earlier in the NC Militia in Union Co. He was married to Salenah TYE in Mecklenburg in 1839.
