I have talked to all of my contacts in the North Cove and Marion area that are knowledgeable about the counties history. Unfortunately, no one is familiar with a community called Mica. Also, the old maps I have and the N.C. Gazateer that is supposed to have all place names ever used in North Carolina do not list a "Mica". The historians I talked to all asked the persons name that was from there. If you can send me his name and approximate birth year, I might can track down some more information for you.
