Mica Community

Does anyone know the possible location of a pre-1900 town or community in Mcdowell County somewhere near Marion that was known as Mica? Possibly in the lower end of North Cove. (Not Micaville that is in Yancey near Burnsville). On two separate WWI draft registrations, Mica, NC was listed as place of birth. Any help greatly appreciated.
