I too am interested in the church records for Skewarkey Baptist Church.

Many of the members left and went to western Tennessee and were members of the Saline Baptist Church in Stewart County, TN for awhile. Some families of note are FERRILL, BIGGS, ROSS, LEGGETT, CHERRY (I have a LEGGETT and ROSS tie-in, but am looking for additional tie ins to ROGERS, STATON and SHERRILL).

I was able to find some abstracts here:
http://files.usgwarchives.net/nc/martin/church/skewauke.txt

But there are many more records, I'm sure.

Hope this helps a bit.
