Sheriff David William Mizell Sr. was the son of David Mizell Jr., son of David Mizell Sr. and Sarah Albritton, son of Charlton Mizell Sr., son of Luke Mizell III, etc.
I am the Great, Great Granddaughter of Anne Elizabeth Mizell, sister of Sheriff David Mizell. David Mizell Jr. is buried in Conway Cemetery, Orlando, Orange Co., Florida.
His son, the Sheriff, is buried in Leu Gardens, Winter Park, Florida, and was the man killed by the Barber family and their friends. My Grandmother, Susan Emma Taylor Harper was the Granddaughter of Anne Elizabeth. Della Belle Mizell, daughter of the Sheriff, and Susan Taylor married brothers: Susan married Edward Cole Harper and Della married William Collier Harper. That gives me a double connection to the Mizell family, I believe.
