Hi there,

I am a McCoy through my grandmother, Ruby McCoy. Her father was John Thomas Montgomery McCoy; his father was William Newton (Uncle Billy) McCoy...brother of Isaac Newton McCoy. We used to live in Gold Mine Community, NC. Mt. Moriah is the cemetery that adjoined our land there, since been sold outside of the family. When I was a child I would frequently "explore" and read the tombstones up on the hill. There are also more McCoy's at the Sugarfork cemetery.
