hello cindy..this is what i found on the 1850 macon co. census. i donot know any more about this family. i will try to find someone who is researching this line for you if you want this..

i search in the book macon co baptist association for mention of a john edwards as preacher but could not find.
brushy creek has been rename gold mine baptist since august 21,1927. brushy creek was located at jackson hole at a little housein 1884. but there is no mention in the book about a edwards being pastor..hope this helps you
