Thomas Osborne McDowell is buried in the Ellijay Baptist Church Cemetery, Macon County, NC. His dates are b.7/29/1885, d.8/31/1932. I completed a survey of that cemetery this week and his name stuck in my mind -- I assume because he was the only McDowell on the hill.
The row begins with William W. Moss and his wife Martha J., John C. Moss and his wife Mattie, markers #35 & #36 (possible relatives?), then "your" Thomas, followed by Thomas M. Moss and his wife Alice Wood, Carl A. Peek, Delphia M. Peek, Martha L. Ennis, Joseph Mitchell Henry, and Darris Patrick Henry.
When looking up your email address, I noticed you had previously posted messages concerning John Brown, AJ Moore/Jane McDowell, and John Buchanan/Sarah Holbrooks. If you are still interested in information on these names, I do have a bit.
