Hello, Connie,
Sugarfork is in the southeast part of Macon County. If you go to the usgenweb.com site for Macon County, NC, you will see a link for "Map Showing Townships". Sugarfork is in the bottom right, just above Highlands. There were a number of Guys who lived in this township, and I believe they were the ones who were listed in the document you are referring to. Hope this helps!
