Judy --

I show William Carpenter and Margaret Peggy McConnell moved to Macon Co. from Buncombe (or Macon was chartered from Buncombe). Their daughter Caroline married Laban Long in Macon Co. in 1838. I descend from Caroline's brother, Jackson Taylor Carpenter.

Any futher info you can provide would be appreciated!

Kevin Kitchens
