I think the Franklin Press is on Microfilm but not sure about the years. The best place to start would be at Western Carolina University. It is located in neighboring Jackson County. I took a quick look and did not see how to access their microfilm library but at one time I knew how. Put a query in Jackson County concerning the University and how to access microfilm and one in Macon County on the Franklin Press. I'll look around today and see if I can find anything.
