Thomas Jefferson Williams--Ellijay---late 1800's.

My mother was born and raised near Ellijay,NC and I am trying to find any info regarding her paternal grandfather who also lived in that area. His name was Thomas Jefferson Williams and he lived (and is buried with a fieldstone marked grave) near Mountain Grove Baptist Church near Ellijay. We believe that he originally donated the land on which the church is built. In the 1880 census he is listed as being approximately 70 years old. There are many Williams plots in the church cemetery. Any one with any information out there?
