Do you know where the Tumlinson family came from prior to appearing in Lincoln Co. NC? From the 1795 Lincoln will of John Jackson Moore, it is clear he has married a widow Mary "Polly" Tumlinson. Mary has a son James Tumlinson who is over age 21 by 1795 since he is named as co-executor of his stepfather's will. There is no Lincoln marriage for Mary Tumlinson and John Jackson Moore, so don't know how long they were married prior to 1795. Curious as to where they came from prior to Lincoln Co.
