The only extant Lincoln Co. NC marriage bond under the surname Tumlinson (Tumbleston, Tumbleson, Tumberson) is the following:

Bond dated 4 October 1797 Joseph Tumberson to Elisabeth Johnson, Joseph Johnson bondsman.

At the NC Archives, Raleigh there is a Lincoln Co. will for John Jackson Moore, probated July 1795, which names his wife "Polly", daughter Ann, grandson John Johnson, and stepson James Tumbleson. The stepson James Tumbleson is named as co-executor with the wife Polly. There is a Lincoln Co. Marriage Bond for John Jackson Moore's daughter Ann, marriage to Robert Johnson 13 Nov. 1788, Joseph Johnson bondsman.
