This has come to be a very big puzzle....and this is why..not only do we have Bumgardner in common, but also McGinnis/Proctor/Ingle/and maybe more. As before with Mary Ethel (somehow), but with McGinnis in this fashion: John Jacob McGinnis b.1826 d. 1882 m.#2 Nancy Jane HUSS (#1 Susannah C. CONNER) John is the s/o William McGinnis b. 1797 d AL. m Catherine CARPENTER. William s/o John McGinnis and Mary BARNHILL. I also have Odessa McGINNIS m. John Charles BEAM...with no idea who Odessa's parents are.
Now for PROCTOR...Robby Cline who is a kinda near cousin, has Agnes Louise PROCTOR b. 1980 d. 1999 as his Grandmother. Her Father was Dwight Ellis PROCTOR m. Connie HOWARD. And his father was Richard PROCTOR and Sinia SHILTON. OH! and HULL is another name! Robby's Great Grandfather was Leroy Coatsworth HUSS who married Frances Ella HULL d/o Elias HULL and Margaret PENDLETON. There are other HULL's lurking within some of the other branches...but that will be another time. see..this is one big puzzle that I am ready to tackle! Where do all these people fit?
If you have any of the pieces...let me know...and if I find any lying around...I will let you know. Such FUN! Dee
