CONNS in Lincoln (old Tryon) County
Posted by: Dianna Gilliam Date: October 08, 2001 at 06:29:46
  of 2014

A great deal of research by a CONN cousin of mine in Lincoln (old Tryon Co) NC reveals that there was a complete clan of Conns there about 1771-1806; John Sr, John,
Henry, William, James, and Benjamin. They are tied by immigration, property records, and/or civil action papers.

At least one of these CONNS migrated to Russell County, Virginia (William). We are stumped at Jesse Wilson CONN. He is our common ancestor but seems to be one of the "thin air" variety!

Any and all help discovering his parents and siblings would be greatly appreciated!
