Evans of 2006 There is no Gunpowder Creek in Lincoln County; it is located in Burke County. From a quick check of deed abstracts, the first reference I see to "Joiner's bottom" would place it on the Henry Fork of the South Fork of the Catawba - in present-day western Catawba County.
