I have no documentation in file as to whether or not Ann (Martin) Weaver, wife of Lindsey C. Weaver, was a sister to Amanda (Martin) Petree, wife of John Petree.
I have the following notation in my file:
Lincoln Co. Court Minutes, January Sessions 1815 George Mauney appointed guardian of Ann Lovina Martin, orphan daughter of William Martin, deceased.
Lincoln Co. Court Minutes April Sessions 1816 Ann L. Martin, orphan daughter of William Martin, deceased, that was bound to William Martin, Senior, be released from indenture and be admitted to live and remain with her sister.
From the marriage bond I know the name of the wife of Lindsey C. Weaver was Ann Martin. I do not know if she was the Ann Lovina Martin, daughter of William Martin, deceased, referred to in the court minutes.
Lindsey and Ann (Martin) Weaver had four children. I do not know their names, or if Ann remarried after the death of Lindsey.
There are no published abstracts of Lincoln Co. court minutes after 1812 - reading them in order to publish a book is tedious work. I have made notations from the minutes through 1815 - just bits and pieces that were of interest to me. I have an index of Lincoln Co. estates records in the NC Archives. There is an estate file for a William Martin 1809. I am unsure if this is the same as the William Martin mentioned in the 1815 court minutes.
