Thanks. That post was from Bill Hengeveld. He and I have done quite a bit of email coordination of our research. So far, he has not found the connection to Lt. Col. Thomas L. Lowe, either. Bill descends from Col. Samuel Lowe, who was a son of James Washington Lowe. James Washington was a son of Thomas Low.

I also saw your post about Sylvester Lowe. I assume that he is a grandson of Thomas Low, correct? If so, which son of Thomas had Sylvestor. If not, who was Sylvester's father? I descend from Thomas Low's son Alexander Lowe.
