For what its worth: checking for my HAWKINS ancestors in Lincoln County today the RHYNE and FITE families were nearby neighbors to Samuel, John, David, and James Hawkins between 1810 and 1840. Including Michael and David RHYNE, Widow RHYNE, and James FITE. Don't know if there are any connections yet but you never know....
