Seeking info on a CHARLES GRAHAM believed to be in Green Co TN in the early 1800s. Served in the War of 1812 possibly under Capt Jonathan Waddle and Col. Samuel Bayless, 4th Regt E. TN Mil. Spouse unknown. May be father of David Graham who married Rachel Sands in Washington Co TN on 13 Oct 1830. Story has it that Charles was related to WILLIAM ALEXANDER GRAHAM, b 5 Sep 1804 in Lincoln Co NC, son of Gen. Joseph Graham. Wm was govenor of NC (1845-1849) and ran for Vice President of the U.S. on the ticket with General Scott. Any info on ancestors or descendants of Charles Graham and or Wm Graham will be appreciated.
