Visited Magnolia Grove last Friday as part of a tour during Rudisill Family Association meeting. "Built in 1824 as the home of David and Elizabeth (Arndt) Smith, daughter of Rev. John Gottfried Arndt (wife was Hannah Rudisill), the first Lutheran pastor ordained in NC... located at the site which served as the county courthouse and jail in 1784."
